libarmadillo4 software package provides streamlined C++ linear algebra library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libarmadillo4
libarmadillo4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libarmadillo4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libarmadillo4 *
You will get with libarmadillo4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
